MAI Image 2.6 generated an ivory coral-like ceramic sculpture on a stone plinth against an olive backdrop

microsoft/mai-image-2.6 / 1024 × 1024

A study in ceramic and light

Editorial studio photograph of a sculptural coral ceramic ring on an ivory stone plinth. Deep olive backdrop, warm side light, tactile surfaces, long architectural shadow. Minimal luxury product composition, no text, no logos.

Actual returned image. The model interpreted “coral” as a branching ceramic form; this illustrates why reviewing the result matters.

03 / MEET MAI IMAGE 2.6

Not just a picture.
A conversation
with an idea.

Microsoft AI’s MAI Image 2.6 family brings generation and editing into the same creative workflow: start with a description, develop a direction, and refine the details.

01

Generate, then refine.

Create a new image from text, or select the verified editing workflow to develop a reference image. Your prompt, model selection, and returned result stay in one studio.

02

Bring more than one reference.

Microsoft documents multi-reference editing, giving a creative brief more visual context. Use the verified editing workflow to provide supported reference images.

03

Ground the direction.

The model family supports web grounding. Grounding is not currently exposed in this studio; no unverified switch is shown.

04

Give the composition room.

Dynamic aspect ratios and output up to 1.5K offer different framing possibilities. Use the verified ratios shown in our studio; the connected route does not expose a resolution selector.

About MAI Image 2.6, your account,
and the creative workflow.

What is MAI Image 2.6?

MAI Image 2.6 is Microsoft AI’s image-generation and editing model family. This independent studio connects verified model-specific routes to an on-site workflow for creating, reviewing, and keeping images.

Can I generate MAI Image 2.6 images on this site?

The on-site workspace is built, but the exact MAI Image 2.6 connection is still being verified. Generation stays unavailable until the route is ready. We do not substitute another model or send you to an external playground instead.

Can I edit an existing image?

The image-editing workflow opens only when its separate MAI Image 2.6 route is verified. Text-to-image access alone does not establish editing support. The studio displays which workflows are currently available.

Can I use MAI Image 2.6 Flash?

Flash is a distinct MAI Image 2.6 variant. Its studio option remains unavailable until the exact Flash route is verified. Read the Flash guide for practical model-selection advice.

How are credits and generation costs handled?

The studio shows the quote for the selected model and settings before you generate. Check the pricing page for current plans and model rates. If a provider response is uncertain, review or reconcile that request before creating another; an uncertain status is not proof of failure or refund.

Are the images on this page real MAI Image 2.6 outputs?

Images labelled as actual MAI Image 2.6 outputs are first-party returned results, shown with their original prompt and model identity. The separate geometric concept studies are original illustrations, explicitly labelled as not model output. We do not present stock art or another model’s work as MAI Image 2.6 results.

Is mai-image.pro an official Microsoft website?

No. This is an independent image studio, not affiliated with, operated by, or endorsed by Microsoft. Our account, pricing, support, and policies apply to this service. Official Microsoft links are source references, not the destination of our primary create workflow.

What happens to my prompt and reference images?

When you submit a generation, the required prompt, settings, and supported reference media are sent for processing through our server-side integration. Account history records your generation and returned result. Do not submit sensitive personal information or files you lack permission to use. See the privacy policy for storage, partners, and your controls.
